THIRSTY?

Jesus is asking, Are you thirsty for God and his righteousness? (John 7:38). The good news is; there is a fountain of life open to as many as are thirsty for eternal life (John 4:13). To qualify to drink from this fountain there must be a genuine desire for God in your soul. You need to examine your conscience sincerely without self deception. Is your soul desirous of drinking from the fountain of life - which is Jesus Christ? Is there any quest to establish a fellowship with the Godhead, even Divinity? Search inwardly – deeply, let not the shallow thoughts of your fleshly mind deceive you.

You have the chance to find the true and living God by the means of this tract that you are reading now. God is ready to draw you to himself if you are indeed thirsty for him. There exists an opportunity to every man who seeks after God in truth to find him, and your opportunity is now. Here is an invitation to eternal life through Christ Jesus to you. God is not for from every one of us, he is always there to show himself to every true seeker (Acts 17:27-28). When Cornelius was in Caesarea longing for God, God showed him telling him how and through whom to find him.

You are not genuinely thirsty for God if you are seeking for other things (like wealth, healing, fame, power and honor) alongside eternal life. You are like Simon the sorcerer in Acts 8:18-21, who wanted power for miracles alongside repentance, and Peter rebuked him, saying, 'you have no part nor lot with us: for your heart in not right with God’. Hear the sound from the genuinely thirsty soul in Psalms 63:1&5, O God, my soul thirstieth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where there is no water. My soul shall be satisfied with marrow (when I find thee). This tract is meant to arouse a hunger for the living God in your soul that you might seek him and his righteousness that it may be well with your soul. You need Jesus to escape from the damnation of hell fire. Except this deep thirst and hunger for God is stirred up in your soul you may end up embracing lifeless religion which have the form of godliness but deny the power of righteousness (2 Tim. 3:5).

Jesus said, blessed are those who thirst and hunger after righteousness for they shall be filled (Matt.5:6) Therefore, salvation, righteousness, holiness and eternal life is for only those who thirst and hunger after them. These last days it is common place for people to gather in many churches and crusades in the pretext that they are seeking for God but the underlying factor is that they are seeking for miracles and material wealth instead of life everlasting. The gospel of prosperity is the prevalent norm these days. Every preacher that seeks popularity knows that the short cut to it is by preaching prosperity. The bible says that perilous time will come at the end time, for men shall be lovers of themselves and lovers of pleasure (2 Tim 3:1 -5). The bible says also that the time is coming when people shall no more endure sound doctrines but will have itching ears desiring to hear fables and smooth things; doctrine of the devils (2 Tim.2 :4, Isa.30:9-11).

The spirit of the last days has robbed people of a genuine desire for God and has replaced it with shadow chasing and artificial spirituality. The souls of men are bereaved of the spiritual reasoning and value. But in the midst of this drought the Son of God is still calling 'IS ANY MAN THIRSTY, LET HIM COME TO THE WATER OF LIFE'. Till now the eyes of the Lord is still walking to and fro in the whole earth seeking for those whose hearts are perfect toward him, those

who are searching for him in sincerity that he may reveal himself unto them (2 Chron.16:9). That same God who showed Cornelius where to contact Peter is still willing to direct you to his true Church on earth today.

Let your soul be precious in your eyes, what shall it profit you if you shall gain the whole world and lose your soul. If God exist just to give us material wealth it means he is not of any greater value and uniqueness than other gods because they are there just to give earthily things to their worshippers. But our God is peculiar in that he is the only God that gives eternal life. And this eternal life is the promise he made to us through Christ Jesus (1 John 2:24-25). The very purpose of Christ coming into the world is to save sinners and give eternal life to as many as shall believe.

We are reaching out to the world with this tract because our Souls are burdened to change the course that believers are now following. This tract is a call to sanity, a call to sobriety, a call for repentance, a call for restoration and spiritual awakening and renaissance, a call to the revival of true Christian values, a call for the recovery of genuine love for God, a call to reality not fallacy.
